Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a complimentary, confidential service designed to support employees in managing personal and work-related challenges. Employers cover EAP service costs, acknowledging the importance and role of mental wellness at work. The objective of providing EAP services to employees is to empower them to maintain optimal well-being and enhance work performance without concerns about cost or confidentiality.
EAPs provide access to short-term therapy and professional guidance for issues such as stress, mental health concerns, mood problems, relationship issues, grief, parenting etc. There are no restrictions regarding presenting concerns.
PPATC is an EAP provider. Your company may have an existing agreement with PPATC, another preferred supplier, or may offer to facilitate EAP services with your nominated provider. Given its multiple sites, wide number of clinicians available with a range of areas of expertise, PPATC is well placed to provide support under EAPs. Appointments can be scheduled promptly (in person, by phone, or via video).
When accessing therapy via an EAP arrangement, confidentiality is primary. Companies facilitating EAP services are invoiced without any identifying information to protect employee confidentiality. Companies and individuals are welcome to contact us for further information.
