Holly is a Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor, with approximately 10 years of experience working across public and private sectors.
Holly has a humanistic approach to her therapeutic style, believing that everyone has the potential for growth and resolution within themselves if provided with the right support and opportunities. She is warm, friendly, and creative and can flexibly draw from multiple evidence-based psychological treatments including ACT, CBT, Schema Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Holly has an interest in the “whys” of human behaviours and loves to build insight through understanding the origins of problematic behaviours and beliefs, through exploring attachment and environmental influences. Holly’s focus in all sessions it to give people the experience of being truly seen and heard, believing that the therapeutic relationship is the avenue for change no matter what treatment approach is used.
Holly has experience working with highly complex presentations in acute inpatient settings with a special interest in Bipolar and psychosis. She enjoys working with new Dad’s to help them adjust to parenthood, as well as all other kinds of common human struggles such as work-stress, grief and loss, self-blame/regret, perfectionism, stress, anxiety, panic attacks and depression.
