Orsolya Demetrovics is a Clinical Psychologist. The title „Clinical” indicates that after graduation from Master of Clinical Psyhology degree she completed a Professional Postgraduate Training, so she is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specialized for Children and Youth. She is a person-centred counsellor and a licenced family therapist. She is interested Mentalization Based Treatment and has training in MBT for Adolescents and Families.
She worked with children, adolescents and their families in Hungary in a children’s hospital from 2008. In 2021 she joined a private practice that is providing psychosomatic approach for clients.
She enjoys working with people of all ages with wide range of problems. She has experience with adolescents and their families with eating disorders, children and adults with ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), that has become her special interest in latest years. Her primary therapeutic framework is psychodynamic and person-centred approach, which she complements with cognitive-behaviour therapeutic elements, if needed. Orsolya takes pleasure in working with LGBTQI people and offers LGBTQI friendly care.
