Roberta is a Clinical Psychologist who has completed a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Adelaide.
She has supported adults, families and young people for more than ten years in community and private practice settings. Her training and experience is in evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Behavioural Activation. She favours trans-diagnostic approaches which help people to understand and regulate their emotions and behaviours, tolerate distress, navigate relationships, and nurture their strengths, values and self-compassion.
Working collaboratively and creatively, Roberta has a gentle and considered therapeutic style. She has lived experience of neurodivergence, and strives to practise in a neurodiversity-affirming way, making the therapy experience safe, supportive and responsive. As well as face-to-face and Telehealth appointments, Roberta also offers some walk & talk therapy appointments within Adelaide.
